Re: Internet Explorer : invalid character error
There are some corrections of the disclosure in IE 7 that does not allow the arbitrary use of the file system to load the scripts. There are several fixes available to get you up and running. First, do not use a website for content area, instead of charging a dummy HTML page hard to put the browser control on the local machine zone. Then you can load from the local machine zone very well. , you can be remove it by, open internet explorer, go to Menu - Tools - Internet Options - Advanced tab. then Check "Disable script debugging" and Uncheck "Display a notification about every script error"

If your getting invalid character error in IE7, then it can only be some ad / script blocking software to blame. You have to configure it to not block ads / javascript from: Add blocking software or the HOSTS file can be blocking or style sheets Verification Tools> Internet Options - General tab, Accessibility button, uncheck "Use user stylesheet.

You may receive this script error message invalid character error, when you try to open a Macromedia Shockwave Flash (.swf) file. You need to edit the registry keys. For doing this, try the following steps :

1. Click Start, click Run, type Regedit in the Open box, and then click OK.
2. Locate the following registry key, and then click the following registry key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main\FeatureControl\FEATURE_BLOCK_LMZ_SCRIPT
3. On the Edit menu, point to New, and then click DWORD Value.
4. In the DWORD Value box, type iexplore.exe, and then press ENTER.
5. Double-click the iexplore.exe registry entry that you created in step 4.
6. In the Value data box, type 0, and then click OK.
