Download keeps failing for Dragon Age II: Mark of the Assassin
I have came across this game called “Dragon Age II: Mark of the Assassin” and I have also paid for it and now when I am trying to download it, it is going well till the half and then it says downloading fails I have been trying since hours and have been facing the same every time. Even though I am having a fast and a stable network I don’t know why I am facing this problem. Is there anyone who has faced the same problem and has a idea about the same. Any helping suggestion will be appreciated.

This has been a very common issue now days and has been reported in many forums. I will say that you are at least able to download the half of the game, I mean that you can see the progress bar for some times at least. I have found people reporting that they are getting messages saying that the server is busy and not from hours they are getting the same message from a couple of days even they have paid for it but at last they are not getting the desired service. I think that this problem is basically from the provider side and not from the customer side. What all you can do is try to download it form “firefox” or the “Google Chrome” but then if you have already tried than I think that I don’t have any more solution to solve this out.

Yes even I have been facing the same problem. In the starting I am getting a good downloading speed but then it just shows downloading for hours and hours and I have actually waited for hours as well but then thinking that something might have went wrong in the between I cancelled the download and tried to download it again but then I faced the same problem no matter how many times I have tried. I would have been satisfied if they would have shown me that the server is busy or any such error but then it is showing downloading and getting stuck at it is irritating me more. I have just stopped downloading it by now because I don’t have any more patience to get fooled.

I am facing the exact problem and it is showing me 27 hours 20 minutes remaining. If it will really take so long then I will have to stop pre purchasing the game from now. I have cancelled the download and have tried to download it again for a no of times but at the last I am facing the same problem. I am in Amsterdam and I have heard that there was some kind of problem with the network which was fixed yesterday but I really don’t know what they have fixed because I am facing the same problem. I really don’t know what should I do now rather than trying but by now even I have lost my patience to try it again.

You can use the “Traceroute Command “ and then post your result here so that it will give us some information about the servers you are hitting and further I can suggest you some solution to narror your problem atleast.What you have to do is just go to the select Start > Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt and then enter tracert, followed by a space, then the domain name and then post the result you get in the window.
