Mass Effect 3 not working after new Origin Update
it was all fine with the Origin ans then came this update . I was actually happy seeing this update which was for the custom Avatars, yay but as soon as I updated the I was unable to play the as it wont at all start . all it do is the Beginning of the EA-Logo-Intro-Thingy just the sound only nas then the black screen and the Windows usual Send or not to send-Window popping up.

I already tried to reinstalled the original and even reinstalled the demo but nothing is working at the moment . I was running the demo very well before the update . I also replaced my Avatar to the Gallery Avatar, so that the Origin screws up the In game Overlay using a costume Avatar. I don t have any other Games on Origin, so I can see if that works . is ther anyone here can help me on this I will be really appreciating this afford

That is really awful but the fact that the demo has too many bugs and this will be not be present launch day. So there will be no such issue that currently you are facing . I relly feels sorry for you hope this issue get solved as soon as possible

I hope so the issue on will get solved and the final release will be. As I have a quite old PC, but it is working just fine . I haven't altered or installed anything, just updated Origin as and from that time it is not working a anymore. I was thinking to see a much more will have this problem after the update , however it look as if only I am having the problem .

Hey even I am having the same issue on my game since the update , is it possible to roll back to the previous version as I looked everywhere but I am unable to found the solution to this . I mean that is just few days more than the real, and the multiplayer's fun stuff , look like the demo has too many bug .

Mass Effect 3 not working on your computer. Update the video driver. If the driver update does not help, try a clean boot of Windows and see if the game starts.To do this, click Start, click Run, type msconfig in the dialog box and click OK. Next on the first general tab, click Selective Startup (Selective Startup) and remove the checkmark from the option Load System.ini, Win.ini, and Startup Items. Checkmark in the Boot.ini, and leave the system services. Next, go to the Services tab (Services) and tick the option Hide All Services Microsoft (Hide All Microsoft Services), and click Stop All (Disable All). Click OK and restart your computer. After rebooting, try running the game. To restore all previous settings and exit from a clean boot. Click Start, click Run, type msconfig in the dialog box and click OK. The first General tab, select the normal boot (Normal Startup - load all device drivers and services).
Click OK and restart your computer.

Just installed the new update yesterday and then I was not able to play the game for a while . My friend list was not showing up . it was only the showing the rotating circle all the time and in the storage page the sliders where zipping up and down without me doing anything.. so all I did is I closed and opened the Origin a few times and within some time it just a appeared to be working like usual so I don't have any issue any longer however still it's kind of odd. Then again, it's actual BETA so all kind of things are possible it look as if

I don’t know what will be the issue is and how to solve it but I have and solution that may be help full try to disabling origin in the game . I hope that may help you solve your problem

Hey I did try to start the game in the offline mode but was getting the same issue that is game is not working so I guess if by disabling origin in the game you meant the same then I like to tell you that it is not working for me

No that is not what I meant
Go to the settings
Then to the in game
There you will found enable origin in game

All you have to do is mainly stop the overlay however it appear to be the stuff that is the reason for this issue most often

Found a answer for this problem by doing the Random experiments . If you don't familiar with this origin loads itself by default into games, when having the having the game test " pre" release origin in utilization and if you Havin it load into the game will make the game to freeze up right away upon beginning . Anyways, here is a fast fix. Just stop origin ingame on the settings and you be able to play ME3 Demo happily until it ends.

Its looks as if the random stuff . well I took you advice and disabled it and started the game and that it the gaem started to work like it usually did and after that I reenabled it again and now its started up an now it is working without any issue thanks for the solution
