Alan Wake PC version comes with The Signal and The Writer combined.
I played Alan Wake on XBOX 360 some 2 years back. At that time, Remedy entertainment released its extension packs ‘The Signal’ & ‘the Writer’ for a cost. I had to pay for it. But now my friend who doesn’t own XBOX 360 but will play Alan Wake on PC has purchased it. The PC version he bought is a standard version and it has ‘The Signal’ & ‘The Writer’ included in it. That’s not fair.

There is nothing fair or unfair about PC gamers not having to pay for extensions. They will be playing the awesome game 2 years later than we XBOX 360 gamers are. Moreover, the developers already spent long time optimizing game for PC from XBOX 360. They wouldn’t have been able to spend more time on single project launching extension packs after 2 to 3 months.

Re: Alan Wake PC version comes with The Signal and The Writer combined.
It happens with almost everything. You buy a car for 20 grands when it is newly launched. After 4 to 5 years the car won’t even cost half the cost it was launched for. If you see a new game, you buy it for a specific amount, but after some years you find the game for free downloads that’s because many have played the game and its value has decreased.
But you can always boast of having played the game 2 years back.
