Microsoft Releases Its First-ever IPhone Application

Little surprise in the land of software. Microsoft has decided to offer on the App Store, the platform for applications for the iPhone and iPod Touch, software, before even making it available for Windows Mobile! Since December 9, the Teams Live Labs Editor's offer was on the kiosk Apple version 1.0 software seadragons Mobile. The owners of iPhone or iPod Touch with version 2.1 firmware iPhone can download in English, free of charge.

Seadragons is the "engine" visualization Photosynth, free software from Microsoft appeared this summer and that creates a virtual 3D scene from his own photos. Microsoft had acquired seadragons two years ago.

Navigation and zoom

The mobile version of the application allows you to navigate a large amount of high-definition images proposed by seadragons (archives of the U.S. Congress, pictures of the planet Mars, for example), zoom or zoom out quickly with your fingers on the screen touch. Seadragons Mobile also adds its own photos or those accessing the site Photosynth.com.'s Blog Live Labs delivers a small video explanation.
